3. For what purposes do we process your data?

If the provision of certain information is necessary for the conclusion of a contract, we will inform you separately (e.g., by marking *mandatory data fields).

Your data will be processed for the following purposes:

  • Conducting our business relationship (Legal basis: Contract fulfillment according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). This includes:
    • Managing your orders, invoices, and payments;
    • Managing the delivery of your orders;
    • Managing customer relationships and your complaints;
  • Creating a customer database for loyalty campaigns, prospecting, advertising, marketing studies to improve your user experience and our services (Legal basis: Legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in effective marketing);
  • Ensuring personalized navigation on the website: making our website more user-friendly and tailoring our products and services to your interests and needs (suggestions for related products by gender, history of recently viewed products, personalized recommendations) (Legal basis: Legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in operating a user-friendly website);

4. Who is your data intended for and how long will it be stored?

The collected personal data will be processed by authorized employees of J.B. Filz who are obligated to confidentiality, in order to provide you with the requested services and in accordance with the defined purposes. J.B. Filz commits not to sell your personal data to third parties. J.B. Filz shares your personal data with certain service providers and partners who assist J.B. Filz in providing and improving its services. These include:

  • Logistics and delivery service providers (freight forwarders, couriers),
  • Technical service provider (internet access provider, companies specializing in IT and telematics services),
  • Payment service providers (bank operators),
  • Marketing providers (companies performing marketing activities [including social media organizations], companies specializing in market research and data processing, companies offering call center services, companies offering marketing, publishing, and distribution services).

Your personal data will generally only be stored for as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose. After the shopping process is canceled, the data stored with us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiration of the statutory retention period (7 years). Data such as name, address, purchased goods, and date of purchase, as well as receipts, will be stored for 10 years. Storage of your personal data beyond this period is possible if necessary for the defense, exercise, or assertion of claims in pending or imminent legal disputes.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter on our website, the provided data will be stored (Legal basis: Consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to receive our newsletter at any time with effect for the future by clicking on the link in the bottom of the received email. If you unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link, your data will be deleted.

6. Cookies

  • Restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR
  • Objection according to Art. 21 GDPR
  • Data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR

If the processing of your data is based on consent, you also have the right to revoke your consent granted at any time with effect for the future.

There is no automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
